Transit
Nine Swans is just off the 3rd Ave transit corridor and across the street from the Pioneer Square link station.
Parking
Due to frequent nearby stadium events, parking can be a gamble. If you do go that route, we recommend Butler Garage at 114 James St.
Street parking is sometimes available during the daytime.
Mobility
Our shop is currently not wheelchair accessible because of our location on a fairly steep hill with an outdoor step. We are working to resolve this issue long term. In the interim, please call or email and we will arrange an accessible location for a fitting.
People who use walkers or canes can access the shop with minimal or no assistance. Seating is available throughout fittings.
Hearing
Deaf and hard of hearing clients can send photos of garments ahead of time to get on the same page about desired fit in a written context. Video remote interpreting is available at the fitting at no cost to the client. Please let us know if this service is needed so we can arrange an interpreter. All alteration cost and billing information can be communicated visually on a tablet.
Vision
Tailor will provide clear verbal and tactile fitting cues. Tactile color and care information can be integrated into alterations.

Nine Swans is an AuDHD owned and operated business. We strive to create a calm, no pressure environment with clear and direct communication.

We are trans and we are here to make your fitting not weird!
Until then, simply bring in your pieces to be altered during business hours.
We will fit the garments and provide an itemized quote and estimated completion date. While we make every effort, we can only promise due dates for orders with a hard deadline. Our current lead time is about 3 weeks, but we’re working hard to reduce that!
Payment can be made up front, split, or on pickup. We accept cash, contactless payments, and all major bank / credit cards. Email invoices are also available.
We do not provide hangers or disposable garment bags on pickup, so please plan ahead if that is a concern. Paper grocery sacks are available.
